Chief Jean-Guy Whiteduck emphasizes that his community seeks a role in managing local natural resources.

The claim targets lands owned by the government, with the First Nation requesting $5 billion in damages from various governmental bodies.

The First Nation is situated near Maniwaki, Quebec.
